I paused my virtual machine and I can't restart it, what should I do?
When you shut down or archive your virtual machine, it is backed up, but you may experience some delay in restarting it, because your computing resources (cpu, gpu) may have been given to another user. We recommend that you try to relaunch it later. When another user decides to shut down/archive their virtual machine, the slot becomes available again. We do our best to satisfy our users: we are constantly deploying new servers so that you have the best possible experience on the Tresorio platform.
How is your virtual machine service billed?
When your virtual machine is on, your credits are counted every minute based on the resources used. When your virtual machine is stopped, you only pay for the storage used, either €0.0019/TB/minute or the equivalent of €83.52/TB/month. When you archive your virtual machine, you only pay for the space used on our secure archiving system, i.e. €0.00023/TB/minute or the equivalent of €10/TB/month. If you decide to stop or archive it rather than delete it, you will have to pay for storage so that we can restart it with the same data.
